Regarding the hood ornament, was that an option in ‘68 instead of standard? My ‘68 convertible nor a friend who has one about 20 miles from me has a hood ornament on our convertibles.
66 and 67 had different bases, but the used the same ornament (they interchange between the 2 different bases)Hood ornament is 66 & 67 same part. 68 went with THREE HUNDRED on drivers side of hood up front
