He was always good with men and I was told by a dog psychologist that he had a fear based aggression, in other words he was aggressive to those that showed fear of him.
Not good as he was taller than me when on his hind legs and I'm 6'2". He could have messed you up if he wanted.

I see your poiint Matt big dog and agressive can get bad, this goofy rescue we have does not have a mean bone in his body which makes him workable, if he was agressive and panicking I don't think he would be here.

To me 100 pounds is a medium size dog At 100 lbs Dodge will lick your face off but dont come into the house unannounced
