New generation into C-bodies

Last weekend one of my kids had a special request as a reward for the first week of kindergarten (and our 3-year-old got into it as an honorary kindergartner) ... a ride exactly 16 minutes long in the '68 Fury. (??!! not sure what's up with the specific time, just practicing numbers, I guess). Better than cars made of cardboard boxes. So we had some fun and blew the cobwebs out. Luckily it was a mild summer day for central Texas, just 95 rather than 105, because the AC hasn't worked for 20 years and it's black on black...

Cool to see that. I'm sure the car feels absolutely cavernous to a kid! Even "big cars" by todays standards are so cramped inside with all the plastic and gadgets.
