Hello, my name is Steve and I'm from Ohio. I'm 21 and currently going to college full time, so I didn't quite grow up with the C-bodies - I grew up with the K and Cloud bodies, haha. We had two two k-car derivatives and then a first-gen Stratus. Not theres anything wrong with those of course. Anyway, I've been buying and selling classic car parts since 2009 and how I fell into that is kind of a long story. It's been a fun and rewarding business, and I've accumulated a bit of C-Body parts. I also found some windshield moldings from a 1960 Pioneer wagon I saved from the crusher (that's pretty much all that was left of that car!) in my dad's basement. The most rewarding thing about doing this is the look on someone's face when they find that part they've searched the country to find or when they send a picture of the car they just restored. The feeling of that big "pick" is nice too.

I'm kind of going through stuff right now and I've thrown out and donated a lot of crap. I want to move out but the more junk I have, the bigger the burden others have to deal with and the more I have to lug around. Admittedly, I'm working for a company that specializes in building reproduction parts for classic cars so my business has become almost a hobby. I don't have time to do this full time anymore. Besides, I got through high school and nearly two years of college on that money debt free...time enjoy life a bit!

But I always love the Virgil Exner-era Mopars. Those big cars with the high tail fins and most futuristic design cues. I love the instrument cluster on the '59(?) Chrysler 300, it looks like a space capsule! The recessed fins on the 1960 Dodge Dart and Polara are very unique and while some call it ugly, I find it stunning.

But I hope to be welcomed here and I hope to find homes for all the parts I've saved from the junkyards, barns, garage sales, and such that I've accumulated over the years.

:VB toast::tiphat:

Welcome to the forum, from another guy from the Buckeye state. Are you going to school at U of D?

Thank you all, I tried to post something earlier by my computer wouldn't read my camera's memory card. Zymurgy, I am currently a student at Wright State, in my third year. I already have my Associate's Degree in Business Management from Sinclair. I was on a transfer module but took some extra classes to get the degree as well. I work as an intern right now and I love my job and experience I'm getting. My time on the road is worth it to me.

My wife got her teachers degree from Wright State many years ago. You have to love the tunnels in the winter, especially last winter.

Welcome! I think it's great there are still young people who find c-bodies interesting. :)
