new love.........

Guys pulled up beside me yesterday. Said ,,,"man ,,love your car" "wanna sell it ? right now"? "what you want for it?" Saw some for 45,000@!!!!!!
I said ,,they ain't worth that but try to find one in good shape....that is the problem,,, I also said there were many more of these than Cudas years ago and now there are far fewer of these than cudas that survive,,,told them my price of purchase 3 years ago with the 440 and their jaws dropped.

Seems that most of the car brokers have adds in there. LOTS of interesting Chryslers for sale!

heh i got asked if i wanted to sell my 68 i told them for $16,000, too rich for their blood

Hopefully driving almost 4,500 miles in 7 days to show the car, will raise some awareness in the car world for C-Bodies and help "float all boats", that was one of my goals.

Congratulations go to Dave Arent for having restored the nicest Fuselage C-body to date; 1971 Sport Fury GT.

My *** is still sore from that trip. It was worth every mile!

Just got her home last week and just before prices going sky high ( ...I hope...) LOL!

Quite a few fusies I passed up in the day, some very solid and stunning cars. Oh well, I'm not a collector. Stuff I don't or can't use sitting around makes me crazy.

I was being approached 3times last year to sell Trixie
One was a chain yanker. the second couldn’t sell his car so he couldn’t drop the hammer
The third insisted on buying her but I turned him away
All were in the $25,000cdn funds range
I was tired of the “I want to buy your car” then things going sideways with excuses
And besides,
It’s not even on the same level as other c bodies here for appearance but it a a great ride
We’ve put about 300 miles on just this weekend and putting a few more on later today
Right now, the $25,000cdn is out of the correct value range
It’s more like $10,000cdn
Still I would have a hard time letting her go
It’s a car I can drive and not have to mortgage the house to have:lol:

How every Fuselage owner should feel:

I've been predicting (hoping) for over 20 years that the C bodies would get popular once people got tired of looking at rows of identical Chargers, Challengers, etc . Looks like it's finally happening!!
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I hope your right. But if that is the case better buy what you want now!

I already bought "what I want" back in 1969 when I saw the first '70 Fury in the dealer showroom. He had a triple black GT and I told the salesman I want one of those only red with a drop top. He said "No can do" so I optioned a Fury III rag top up to GT level. The only thing missing was the hidden headlight grill. Took 45 years but I finally got my grill!!
Now if the market price goes "Way Up" my wife will have to quit with all her "money pit" comments.
Unfortunately I won't be able to even think "I told you so!", that could be detrimental to my health!!

Got a great offer on the NYB this week from Austrailia.
After accepting the offer, he hits me with that he needs a certificate saying the car is asbestos free and he needs a walk around video.
Told him I was canceling the deal. Bullshit on that.
Asbestos free certificate?? Wtf.
And after taking the video, I'll bet he starts nitpicking.

Send me money. Pickup car. What's so hard?

Australia jacked the regulations for imported cars, made it stupid hard to bring one over. That might have been part of it. Thought we had a thread on it before.

Well, not my problem.
There may have been a thread but I missed it.

About a year ago or so. In Hemmings etc.
