My neighbor is a distributor for a paint products company. Normally, that means he's showing up with extra cans of spray paint for me, since he knows I frequently have some project going and want to spray-paint something.
Yesterday, however, he came up to me and gave me a roll of the new 3M outdoor blue tape. Rather than a crepe paper backing, it's got a plastic backing of some kind. That means it will work in wet or high-humidity environments. It also means you can mask curves better. He showed me a curve with this 2" roll.
Before I fixed my electric window, I thought my car was going to have to sit outside for a week with the regulator removed. This would have been perfect to tape the window up, and not fail from the moisture in the dew. Lots of other uses, too.
Anyway, I thought it was a neat product, and wanted to share.
