This spring I bought a 1965 Plymouth Fury I 4dr. I just love 60s era Mopars, and this one had been sitting on craigslist for like six months, so I was able to get a really good deal on it.
It has been a pretty steep learning curve. The gas tank is a basket case and finding one for a 65 is next to impossible. I'm still unable to drive it, since the brakes needed to be gone through.
Got the 318 poly running pretty nicely now though. Rebuilt the Carter BBD. Can't wait to test it on the road at WOT. I sure wish speed parts for the poly were cheaper/less rare. Probably just swap in a 383 someday.
Interior is real nice. Some rust holes on the body though.
When people you know about doing a four-speed conversion on this kind of car?
