New Member 66 Fury III

welcome aboard and very nice fury. but why worry about front disc brakes at this point. enjoy it the way it is not likely you will get into trouble with a slanty. just sayin.

Welcome aboard. The car looks great. The /6 is a very underrated motor. If the grill is aluminium strip it and polish it and you'll be good to go. My .02. Will we see you at Moparfest this year?

Goodness I haven't logged into this site in a long time.

I did not know that the grill could be stripped and polished back to its former glory, I just might have to do that.

The reasoning for the disc conversion is just for drive ability of it. I did notice that driving it in an area where traffic builds up I tend to get some brake fade. Also I have the 73 newport front spindles so why not try it out. Although I have heard of some issues arising trying to fit a master cylinder on a column shift car, can anyone chime in with any info?

I hope to make it to moparfest but that being said it will depend on timing with regards to work etc.

Welcome, Don't see a whole lot of straight six C-bodies, Nice looking car though. What's the deal with the column shifter? From my experience they are pretty damned sturdy. Although the last one I had came out of alignment with the PRNDL it still shifted fine if you knew what you were doing.
