Hello, my name is Joe. I've had my 66 Sport Fury for quite a few years but have only recently gotten serious about putting it together. I've lurked here and the Dry Dock for years but decided to join tonight. Looking forward to getting to know some of the other poor souls that got suckered but the C-Body.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Again...

I used to have a 66 Sport Fury. Was a wide block 318 automatic car. Dang (first) wife sold it while I was deployed. One of the reasons she became an EX-wife. When I got divorced, I bought my 65 Sport Fury convertible. I was actually looking for a Cuda to darag race but I have never regretted getting the Fury. I love that car.

thanks all! Lust prevailed over brains when I purchased mine...I had a 68 Sport Fury for a time but had to get rid of it due to a multitude of reasons. I wanted another 68 and REALLY wanted a 64 but both are scarce or out of my price range so when my 66 popped up for a price I could afford I jumped on it not knowing just how unsupported the car was by the aftermarket. I do love the styling and size of the car and don't regret the purchase but had I waited I could have found something with a few less tin worms. I started a project thread if you have not seen it yet and I will update it as I progress.

Welcome, always nice to see another 66 Fury happening. Post pics when you can.

Welcome to FCBO! please post some photos of the Fury! The body style is one of hte best lines Dodge put out.

Here it is after the kids and I decided it was time to lose the red oxide primer. So a 40 dollar rattle can paint job later and this is what we ended up with. There is a project thread now so you can see the details.
