Holy hannah.. quite a ride, man! Congratulations!
You're not reading the posts again Bob.Is that original paint? It sure looks great!!!
Well I guess it didn't really fall in my lap. Like anything there was work involved to make it happen BUT I was in no way looking for another car but my brother told me about it and then I couldn't resist so I went to check it out and well here it is in my garage lol. Yes I'm lovin the dark turquoise and pearl wht top, pure eye candy. This car is amazing how well kept it has been. I'm not sure what to do about the wheels. It comes with the original 14" bicycle rims with wheel covers which I may have to put on to keep it stock. I have a set of 15" Dodge Division wheel covers, you know the heavy ones, they I really like. Could I get away with those? Did 68 ever use them?
I just got another Polara 500. This one is a 1968 and also an L code 440 magnum. The big difference with my 69 is this one isn't a project and is turn key! It's a CA car and completely rust free repainted once but not the jambs etc. Nice interior too. Not perfect but very nice and all original other than the rims. Last thing I needed was another car but this fell in my lap and couldn't pass up such a great original Mopar.
