Oh well the last pic was what it looked like before I changed cabs. Lol and it was just primer I tented to look darker.

Couldn't you just find a color to spray it with that looks like primer and then clear it using a flat clear.You will get sort of the same effect.Test it on a piece of sample metal for the look.

Could yeah but i think the flat black with the cast iron grey will look good.
