I need a window switch that will work for my 74 New Yorker. It doesn't have to be stock, correct to model, or even nice looking, just functioning. It'll be my daily when gas is cheap, because we all know the old N'orkers pass everything on the highway but a gas station.

Here is a photo of the pins on the back.

By the way, if someone knows how to Jimmy-rig a new Jeep switch to these, I'd buy one of those from you as well. I really don't care what it looks like.

I just took mine apart, cleaned it up, dielectric greased everything on my 74' New Yorker door switch and it has been working fine since.

I tried. When I took it apart, it basically fell apart. Mine got fried in the past- the coating melted off and the switches were brittle and busted.

Wow, that's awesome. I'll gladly take it. You'll have to give me some tutelage for the transaction.

Now if you have some advice and instructions how to mount the tension spring holding the window... but I'll save that for another post.

Send your zip and I can give the shipping cost. Advice on reinstalling your window regulator spring. Keep window and regulator in up position and wind the spring with a little tension.
