Newest Toy - Mopar but not a 'C' body

I love the old Dodge trucks, especially the Power Wagons. No other truck will ever command the respect those 60's PW's do.

This was my 63 W100 Town Wagon for 30 years. I killed it, parked it in a field for several years then pulled it out and restored it.

I would love to do one of these:

As much as I love the A-100 and the L-Series trucks this just doesn't work for me.
I like to concept but the late model bed just doesn't work.
With a little effort you could have worked from a A-100 bed.

I agree. Unfortunately I could not find one picture of an L-series with a proper bed.
Plus an A-body bed was a unibody. I was thinking some kind of vintage D100 bed.
This works for me

That green PW in the original post would most likely have had a 9' Utiline (stepside) bed originally. The Sweptline (smoothsided) bed was not available on these.

www.sweptline.org and www.dodgesweptline.org are two good Sweptline ('61 - '71 Dodge/Fargo) truck forums. Check them out.

Here are my two '68 D100 Sweptline 4x2 pickups. One is normal ride height, and the other has a Sid's 3" dropped front axle and a 4" dropped rear spring mount.68_Dodge_8.jpg68D100-1.jpg

Yes, but if you are going to all that custom effort you might try to keep the lines clean.

Actually I think the green truck might have come as is originally.

It was originally a military truck and a stake side beds were options. But clearly anything is possible.
