Very nice. Would love to have but I think the seller is being very optimistic on the $14k price.

That is one extremely nice car. Roofline...
Really?

Carefully observe the condition of the interior and all of the components of the engine compartment. Pristine! the car has been in dry storage. Think about the restoration cost to bringing the engine compartment of those turds that show up here all the time to that level or better.

As far as price they asking price is close to what it's worth.
I am amazed at the amount of cars that should be parted out or crushed that people will spend up to $$5000.00. And in the end all you have are money pits.

Let's nitpick...you all like to nitpick...
crayon mark on vc
tag on m/c
orig neg cable-disconnected to prevent any unwanted battery discharge and prevents electrical fires on unattended vehicles.
vintage floor mats
vintage 8 track player
rubber covers over the suspension

I want my cars in very good condition in General. I also never grow tired to tell People to do the math what a mediocre car in this class will cost and what you have to spend to bring it in such a condition and what contractors can mess up if you farm out work, especially Body and paint.

If it's alright to use a mediocre car as is and just make it reliable it might add up, but otherwise Forget it.

Just heard of a case of a friend of a friend who had some distant aquaintance do a complete "resto" of a car for about 25 k +.
He got back another Body than the one he delivered, a lesser Version for another engine which differs in some spots in the cowl area with his front end and VIN welded in, sloppy bodywork, his good doors got substituted by ones in worse condition and he blew the engine after 200 miles because of a loose bolt and all of that done in moonlight.

Shame to spend 25k on a resto and not to have noticed any of those quality issues during the periodic visits to monitor progress and inspect...

Blind trust, he's cured for now I guess.
