Hello all. I Just joined up today and I'm glad that there's another C Body site around. I'm a big fan of these cars and have never gave in to the mainstream Chebbys and Fords. Everybody and their mom has one. I've had my car now for just over 5 years. It's a 1968 Chrysler New Yorker, 4 door hardtop. Picked it up for $2700 and It was completely stock with 74,000 original miles. She has been a beautiful running car with power everything. Over the years I've, repainted a bunch of engine parts, new Holly 670 Carb, installed dual Flowmaster exhaust, Pinstriping, silver metal flaked roof, Supreme wheels and recently had hydraulic suspension installed. I am a true Mopar lover. I also have a 2007 300 and a 2009 Dodge HEMI RAM truck. Here's a few pic!

I can tell you have put some great detail in your car. Beautiful work, of course we want to see more of your car, like what you have done under the hood. Welcome aboard.

Yeah....he's definitely gonna love this.

Im not into hydraulics and low riders......but yours is very tastefully done...alot better than most IMO. Bravo and welcome aboard.

Welcome to the site from the motor city! Beautiful car, love the hydraulics and want to do that to my Imperial but its low on the priority list. Love to see more of it.

Welcome aboard!

Nice Fusie NY'er. I really like the pinstripping. It looks very good!

I believe its a "slab" Bob :poke:

Great looking car! Thanks for sharing. Hope to see more of it

Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments! Here's a few more of what I've done. I know I painted the valve covers etc. the wrong color:BangHead:. It's been about 4 years now, so it's ready for a upgrade. I raised the drive shaft tunnel around 2.5 inches for more clearance and I know there's some folks out there that want to shoot me for doing so!

The rear end shot is when I first lowered it back in 2007.

Oh **** yes! I am so glad that you found your way here. BAD *** CAR!

Check out my build thread (Stormer's 73 or something like that), I'm gonna bag a 73 Imperial coupe. The guys here have been real encouraging. ;)

You can now join me on my tiny little island of sanity.

Thank you! There's not too many guys into customized C Bodys, so It's always nice to run into one! I posted a bunch of other pics but a moderator has to approve the post. Whenever that will be.

Welcome aboard. Your car is a beauty. I too am not into old car customization but can admire the work and skill that goes into one. Nice job!

I've always liked your car...since I saw you over on the Dry Dock. I'm not a huge fan of hydraulics and low riders...but as stated your car is very tastefully done. Congrats on a very cool ride.

Like I said, it's low on the priority list. I have a Road Runner to put together this winter and a substantial amount of repairs to make on the Imp to get it ready for the trip to Carlisle next year. If I never put air ride on this imp and its originality would be the only thing keeping me from doing it, I might try and find another 67 or 8 that wasn't so original.
