Noob

Send me a high res pic & I will get my girl on it presently.
You talking photoshop so I cans see how much I'd love it?
how much would installing air ride cost me on an Imp?

Pretty sure I've mentioned it before, I've been thinking about it for at least 4 or 5 months.

Looking forward to it!

You need about 6" of clearance (diameter) for the bags in the front. If you have that it's a few thousand bucks. If you don't have the clearance then it's tough & expensive.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments! Here's a few more of what I've done. I know I painted the valve covers etc. the wrong color:BangHead:. It's been about 4 years now, so it's ready for a upgrade. I raised the drive shaft tunnel around 2.5 inches for more clearance and I know there's some folks out there that want to shoot me for doing so!

The rear end shot is when I first lowered it back in 2007.

Nah I don't think anyone here want's to SHOOT you. Your car is one of the better "low ride" type cars we occasionally see come thru here. Usually they are not tastefully done and just hurt your eyes when you look at them, but yours doesn't look bad...it appears as if you had a plan going about it and executed properly and without cutting corners or excepting shoddy work. I'd much rather see another nice c body being driven and capable of being driven than in a junk yard or worse...a demo, well I don't need to finish that word you get the point.

Also, the engine compartment is very well done, I like it.

The front ends of these cars are not airbag friendly thats for sure. A hydraulic cylinder on the otherhand works perfectly. Thats why I chose that route. Accumulators all the way around makes for a smooth ride, some say better than bags.

Thanks, 70Fusey......Funny, I cant see these pics on the other pages. I wouldnt really call my car a "lowrider", more of a traditional 60's custom. It's not a showboating hydraulics hopper with the chain stearing wheel! And it kills me too when I hear about these beautiful cars in a derby. :shruggy:

I stand corrected, it is a "traditional 60's custom". Yes I'm glad you do NOT have that crazy chain link steering wheel!

I've never seen a rear axle painted that way before. It's definitely different.

I want to shoot you but I can't. The workmanship (and the restraint in keeping it from becoming ugly, btw) is too damn good.

The plumbing in the trunk is pure art that I can appreciate.

Hey Sled, the fact that these boys appreciate the quality of the workmanship, in spite of the fact that you've ruined an otherwise perfect car, is huge.

Who makes the hydraulic setup?

Haha! I appreciate the love and the car could be returned to stock with a few modifications. The interior carpet still barely fits with the raising of the tunnle. It's a one of a kind car and it turns more heads than a Chevy or Ford.

The equipment is from CCE(Cool Cars Engineering) and the install was done by Sam's Kustom Hydraulics in Denver. This was the first Chrysler they had ever done and all I told them was I want it to lay on the ground. We were pleased with the outcome.

Do you mind ball parking what you spent on hydraulics?
