I really like these and this one seems like a hell of a good buy.

That rear window is a nice conversation Piece, I also remember an interesting, but discarded electric T-top prototype by American Sunroof Corp.; but generally not my personal taste.

I have the same Feelings about that Boattail Riviera you used to own btw.

I bought a Brown 72 Toronado in 1982(similar to pic below only rougher) from a buddy I worked with when I was working retail grocery in Minnesota out of high school...it burned oil...But, never got stuck in the typical deep snow with that front wheel drive. It was a cool monster of a car.

I’m trying to find something to like about it and I just can’t. I generally like a good C-pillar and absolutely no B-pillar....

heck I like it.

built way before my time at the company but i'd be most interested how we got along with NO "C" in the traditional sense (or a B/C combo?). its kinda a "cantilever" out back .. so there must be a lot of structure there somewhere?

always liked toro's and sister eldos. i have put this here before. My Dad's '
68 Eldo .. which yes I still have.

Big honkin' 472 V8 (first year, tested for a million miles so said GM), advertised at 375HP (gross) and 525 ft lbs torque ... and that wonderful front wheel drive.

The first gen. front wheel GM cars were something else and I prefer the Cadillac over the Oldsmobile despite the latter being considered more of a design Icon.

The high brake lights by the back window led to the third brave lights today. These cars were being rear ended significantly less than all other cars at the time any it was found in tests and studies that eye level lights caught peoples attention. It would still be years before they became mandatory.
