have all the receipts listing all the work I had done, I can show you on request. A few things that I remember off the top of my head are:
-New Carb
-New exhaust manifold
- All new brake hoses
  • New Heater core
  • New ball joints
  • New pitman arm
  • Full service about 600 miles ago
  • New battery
  • Cherry bomb muffler (underside photos from before this was installed)
  • Many many more things
Good Points:
- Starts easily. I have left this thing for a few weeks and it’ll start on the second turn on the key. When its warm it fires up at flick of the key.

- Well maintained. I have really looked after this thing and so has the guy before me, he had the engine rebuild as a maintenance measure in about 1990…its not done a lot since then.

  • Slant 6 motor, heralded as one of the best engines ever produced.
  • Original unrestored condition. The guy before me had collector plates on, I just never got round to it. Its never been messed around with and is all original.
  • Everything works. The stereo is AM only and works perfectly, as does the heater (new heater core), wipers, lights…everything….apart from the cigarette lighter but its an easy fix.
  • Beautiful to drive. This thing sails down the road with absolutely no problems at all. It truly is a pleasure to drive.

Bad Points;
  • Some light cosmetic age related issues. Small paint bubbling in some areas, scuff on the front bumper.
  • The rear speakers have been replaced at some point and are not original.
I’ll happily answer any questions, I love talking about this car.
Thanks so much for looking. If you’re looking for a cool cruiser then this is the car for you.
Josh

I had a 67 Polara with a slant six. Didn't get off the line very fast but it cruised pretty good. Was weird hearing that distinct slanty sound coming from under the hood of that big car though.

I have to say I have never come across a 66 Polara with a slant six.lots of car for 145 horses.
the color sure looks familiar!
