NOT MINE Not Mine: 1970 Sport Fury

In the timeframe probably around less than 10 years ago, this old man remembers seeing alot more posts with people lobbying for higher prices. I think it goes in cycles.

When I joined in late 2013, $7-8k got you a very nice running driving car with good paint and usually a very nice interior. $5k got you a car you needed to do a little here and there, but a get in and drive anywhere car. Those numbers seem to have doubled for the upper end cars, excluding the SFGT's and Hursts, which have gone bonkers in my opinion. Even project cars are asking for some good money considering their condition.

Agreed on all that.
Project cars have always not been discounted enough vs the cost to bring them to the level of a nice car, but the asking prices for projects seems to have gone nuts in the last few years.

I bought my first C's for $400, then as time went on....$700, $1000, etc...

Now parts cars are $1500 and anything buildable is up from there...

Way of the road....
