I dont like where wagon prices are heading...
FWIW i dont think this one's gonna sell for 15K...with it's high mileage and the Mechanical problems...There was a similar nice '72 Monaco Wagon on Hemmings, with a 440 with alleged 46k miles and in 6 passenger-config that took a while to sell at like 7K or 8K...

Some interior pictures would be nice. If it has a good useable interior 15 G's wouldn't be too out of line but if it needs everything that's too much.

As straight and solid as that body looks more pictures and close ups would probably generate more interest. I dunno, maybe replace the woodgrain and buff and detail the paint and you'd be good to go?

Thats what i like to do. I can live with some worn paint as long as it aint really awful. I see too many projects come to a end Because of the amount of time and money it takes to do paint and body work. Life is to short. Enjoy your old mopar and dont sweat the small stuff.

For 142k the car sits very well. No discernible sag in the front or rear suspension.

I am currently in the final phases of restoring my 1969 Chrysler Town & Country 3 seat wagon with 440 of course and dual air but my intentions were never for more than a good driver type vehicle with original paint and woodgrain to keep the original patina. Mine has only 41K miles on it no doubt and not even one tear in the interior upholstry. I just wanted it to be a good driver.

All I can say is that it has been a much larger project than I ever imagined since virtually everything about the body/interior is so much different than the typical passenger car and much more complex in terms of the tailgate, the seating arrangement, the headliner and so much more that I don't ever want to do another one.

These wagons have an allure that wears off after spending too much time getting things right and dealing with all the complexities. I will stick to my favorites, 2 doors, in the future...............................

In my view, a $15K starting price for a vehicle in the condition that one appears to be in and since we have no good interior photos is too high. The plastic panels inside are probably junk by now as well.

Well, DP46T2D296280 is still for sale as of today. Precisely, the ad is still up at Hemmings. No new pics so still no interior pics, unfortunately.
