If you ignore the evaporated vinyl roof,the body is great.It,s very straight,the chrome looks like it needs extreme detailing.The interior needs a car donor but formal interiors can be used if available as well as a good Impy. donor.There,s only so many parts out there.Wish there were more collectors out there who understood true highway motoring.Chrysler always stood for the best highway ride.B.B

Yeah,don,t those derby turds understand that Impys. are on the endangered list?? Go use Lincolns,They have nice tall fenders.And big bumpers.Lets legislate that only toyota corollas and camrys can be used in derbys.Maybe put an Imperial body wrap around an Avalon would help.Any other bright ideas?Heh.B.B

Apparently she has had several offers "close" to 2000. She says several Derby guys are trying for the car. but says that someone who wants to restore the car is coming to get it this weekend. Tobias, if your serious about the car and the folks back out on her this weekend I might be able to get you in with a higher offer. Just sayin.

Hope the derby-guys don‘t get it but at least someone who appreciates the car and brings it back on the road.

Wonder why it has not sold fast, if there is so much demand as the seller claims and especially if there are offers in the range of 2,000$.

If the local guys did not buy it yet, I suspect there must be something wrong with the car...maybe a Flintstone-mobile with no floorpans left, after sitting 3 years in the grass.

She really wouldn't let me give her an offer so I do think it is a pending sale.
Buyers were supposed to show up last weekend but didn't and are showing up this weekend to get the car.
If something works out Tobias I will put you in contact with the seller. I'm just waiting on her now.
Looks to me like it would clean up decent and drive in short order. Might not have a good headliner and a good looking smelling interior but...... peeling some tires out still.

You need to increase the price up on this car. the derby pukes are going to lie, cheat, basically get it from you any way they can they see this car priced that low. They will tell you they are purists and tell you how many cars they restored and this and that and do anything to fool you. I would seriously put that car up for another 2k on top of what your asking. A serious Imperial guy will pay that to restore it.
