Man and I thought I was pimped out when I bought the 81 fourteen years ago, with it's factory white leather and red shag carpet that went up the door panels.

Well, it's probably not the case here,but......
a number of years ago I bought a '69 Charger that had the same treatment, but in black. Upon closer inspection, it turned out they just covered over a PERFECT interior with that crap, preserving it for eternity.
