For Sale Not mine-79 Newport cop car

I know where Boonton is and I have a member that lives in the next town Wharton,NJ if a pair of eyes and ears are needed.
I seriously thought about buying it myself but lack of space and now the pandemic closed the border..
The car has been for sale for a while and seller has just moved to another location so eager to sell.
I would go through the mechanicals,install fuel injection and leave the car as is cosmetically.

Looked at his YouTube channel. Doing well for a 21 year old. Has a 67 Fury and a Chrysler wagon.

spoke to seller a week ago. he said someone he spoke to day before from Connecticut was coming to pay for and pick up the Newp

he hadnt heard from the person the morning we talked, and then he promised to return a call to me IF the prospect showed up or not to let me know.

I offered him his asking price and we ended the call. seller never called me back.

not dissin' seller, just tellin the story. i presume car is sold.

I looked at his FB. The Newport says sold on his page.

He has a pile of Mopars and parts for sale. Saw a nice Offenhouser small block intake and what looks like a Hurst clone car.
