Nothingness doctrine.

I'd have sex with it.

This is the color of the car I just purchased (Doubonet). It is a Deluxe model and same colored interior. I did learn alot here and somewhat more than the www.classicoldsmobile.com website. In 1966 auto writer Jim Dunne was on the cover of Mechnics Illustrated sitting in a '66 Toro looking to his left at a detailed Toro chasis and drivetrain. Yes it was promoting a revolutional front drive but also styling to match the mechanical engineering. Few times do NEW cars have both. For me this car has it all. Not to say I don't also love my "59 Imperial or '78 NYB Coupe. For one to really appreciate their car, it must look great sitting still as it feels driving.

might there be something I'm missing here?
That was an ongoing skit on Saturday Night Live that was a spoof of a segment called Point/Counterpoint on 60 Minutes in the seventies. You hadda be there....
If you can YouTube an old 60 Minutes and then the SNL spoof, you'd get it.

ok thanks for clearing that up for me.

Its not that I don't like them for no reason, it irritates me to see wings on a car...an even more egregious affront, offence, insult.......eye brows.

Everyone kids you a lot about this but I get where you are coming from.
It's the same with me when I see all the crap spend $ on to stick on their cars.

Portholes.
"In Loving Memory Of..."
Hello Kitty steering wheel covers.
Pink tennis balls on the antennas.
"MARINES" license plate frames.
Landau padded vinyl roofs.
26" rims on Hummers.
Crap like this make me cringe. I can't make it from my truck to the entrance of Walmart without my B.P. hitting 300....
PLUS, once I'm inside, it gets worse.
