OK you truckers...

Guys ..no joke. I learned to love the 359 Petes in this era right here in this thread.

I have never driven a truck for a living and don't plan to start .. but I'd just drive this like a "bachelor pad" Scenicruiser, without my posse, and drag a couple cars around.

Is that an a**hole thing to do?

This seems like a nice price (assuming it doesnt need another $7500 in stuff to be roadworthy. I definitely have room for it :).

seriously ..thoughts anyone?

I was more thinking the sleeper is the only place for humans .. dragging a regular trailer. Don't need the CDL in that case, right?

You need a CDL B to bobtail because of the weight.
They hand out B's like M&Ms. Easy to get.

swingin' boss. thanks.

i aint kidding. i'd buy it, add some bling, and spin it just like anything I own. Is that sleeper big enough for two people? might need my favorite femme fatale with me on occasion :)

Im calling on it this eve .. Five top questions to decide whether I go see it? A little help?

my thoughts knowing nothing about these trucks really:

1. drive train
2. mileage
3. brakes/hydraulics
4. running .. like roadworthy running or not?
5. electrical

:thankyou: anyone?

Sebring ..yes. 'Fumbuck" was stuck in my mind from road trip thread :).
6=1/2 dozen

FWIW, your better off with a camper box on her... No CDL in many states, if titled as an RV.

Be a ton cheaper than a Scenic for driver's ed.

Brakes are air, it's not old enough to have the weird valves, all standard plumbing. Trick is registration, your asking state to let you off with a light/ cheaper registration, now don't you think we would all get that if we could.
Federal guidelines say trailer over 10000# requires CDL, 2 C bodies on a ultra light aluminum trailer is going to be over 10000#.
It is doable but not to practical. Depending on what engine is in it fuel mileage is either okay or in the toilet.
Sounds like a great idea, I like it. I have debated on buying a old moving van to make a race car hauler out of with camper living quarters, come home Sunday drop van hook to my covered wagon ready for work Monday morning.

Amazinblue82, I waz gonna thro' in that you don't wanna blow past ah chicken house(weigh station) But ah few of the known big riggerz here on FCBO have hopfully already convinced you it's just ah not ment to be bad idea, Jer

snooping around ... not quite ready to toss in thet towel. :)

is this more like it, or is this an exception? If I get "seriouser" about this bachelor pad RV thing, I will move all this stuff to Scenicruisin?
