Orange plug wires.

Points ignition got black wires. The orange were introduced with the new electronic ignition. Imperials had electronic ignition as standard before the Chryslers, but it was an option on Chryslers.

I know, I’m saying my car had black wires in spite of electronic ignition.

What spark plugs are you guys using? (going to order the spark plugs/wires so they get shipped together), and boy, what a pain getting them out.

I used the Lectric Limited black wires with no problems on my 72.

Here is another 440 pulled from an Imperial. It has black wires.

I went with Autolite platinum. Because it is such a pain to Re and Re the plugs.
