Our house or some would say our garage with a house is on the market.

Some of you may have seen me post something referring to our moving south. Our house went on the market this past Friday. I thought I would share a link to the listing figuring some of you may want to see the garage. The photos inside the garage are purposely limited because the garage is packed with parts, many of which will be making the trip to Carlisle in a few weeks to be offered for sale in swap meet spaces A-67 & A-68. (Kind of cool that a collector of '68 Fury's gets a space with the #68).

See something in the garage you want, let me know, it might be for sale as I am not moving all of those parts and sadly, some will likely end up being scrap metal. Here's the listing link and some garage photos (the garage is 40' x 32' with 13' from the floor to the bottom of the pre-engineered trusses).

Time goes by too fast. August 2003. Since the wagon is a Plymouth, not a Dodge, you don't want it.

With a lot of bad weather I never thought it would get started. I remember lying in bed with the windows open and trying to fall asleep while hearing chunks of earth splashing down in the moat that was supposed to have the foundation poured already.

Still waiting for the fiberglass reinforced concrete floor to be poured in September 2003.

I assumed. We work in the same industry...my company makes stuff his company sells. ... not to mention all the other stuff we’re involved in. Just been wanting to catch up with him.

Actually, I am going to be downsizing my collection as I have more 1:18 & more 1:24 scale diecast and Promos than are seen in the photos so yes, I will be parting with some and if time permits, I will bring some to Carlisle. I have the boxes for most of them and also have a lot of NASCAR diecast to sell.

Doors, no, fenders, maybe but they would be '68 fenders. I have a few NOS 67-68 wagon parts I need to dig out.

I don't know what's more impressive, the size of the garage or the amount of Mopar stuff inside. Good luck with the sale. The new driveway looks great, I understand there might be some curb damage left by a couple of yahoo's from Mass.

Don't know. Expect to have to build one. Have already looked into a steel garage building and have gotten pricing on a 4 car garage that is tall enough to accomodate a lift. Its size will depend on what we find in NC and how much garage space the house we find has. They are rare down there but I'd love to find a house where most or the entire basement is set up to be used as garage space, in which case I may not have to build one.

No curb damage, just a visit from some Yahoo's who like to do things really early in the morning...

We have made offers on 2 houses in NC but both were rejected. No one will consider an offer from us until we have a contract for someone to buy our house. So while it sucks that we lost out on 2 houses the good news is that there is a steady stream of houses hitting the market in our price range plus there is a lot of new construction.

I left Michigan in 95 to move to NC. Took me 6 years to realize I hadn't gone far enough south. I like NC, beautiful place. But there's still to much winter weather there, and it seemed to be an expensive place to live.
Alabama, a well kept secret, suites me fine.
