I agree after 72' b body cars got really ugly for some reason. I think it was the fed's getting to involved with safety standards.
 
With these the two toning as on the Satellite Sebring worked in favor of the design IMHO. I rarely like two toning over monotone paint jobs. While I'm not quite sure if this example isn't just primered on the lower belt, but they were available that way.

interesting, I find the 71 & 72 plymouth B bodies to be better looking than their older cousins.
 
You have a "cheap" taste then, at least as far as asking prices compared to pre 71 models are concerned. ;)
 
I certainly don't dislike them, I just prefer the previous generation.
 
Late to the post but that Alfa must have one of the most uncomfortable shifting positions I have ever seen in a car.
