Did Mopar cars even have a remote outside mirror in 1958? While doing some research, I cannot confirm this. It looks like the remote outside drivers funder-mount mirror did not debut until 1959 (fall of '58 for '59 models).

1958 Chrysler 300 an outside mirror was strictly an option according to the brochure. 1958 300 had an option remote mirror. I have a car with one on it. And it's on the IBM card for the car.

Can anyone show me the route for the cables through the inner fender and into the cabin on a '58 Chrysler or Imperial? Photos would be optimal.

Checked the '55-'58 parts book and it shows the same one for '58 DeSoto and Chrysler and a different one for Imperial. None for Plymouth or Dodge.

I put dual oem remote mirrors on each side of my 59 65 and 66 imperials one on the fender and one on the door
they are small and one leaves big blind spots

Can you show me where you ran the cable for the remote mirror through the firewall and rear of fender?

I don't know this for a fact but I'd imagine the cable would be run in a similar way and close to where the front mounted antenna would be run.
