Does anyone have the WIX or NAPA Gold part numbers for the 1958 or 1959 Dual quad oval air cleaner elements? Are they different part numbers for 1958 and 1959? I ask because I have come up with varying results looking online.

I don't believe there are any good numbers from Wix or Napa still made today.

The following numbers are for the 1958-1959 engines with dual inline four barrels carburetors and oval air cleaners:

Mopar: 1852569
AC: A84C
Fram: CA163PL
Purolator: AFP15
Wix: 42042 (old number DT42)
NAPA: 2042 (made by Wix)
Hastings: AF20
K&N: E-1959

All of these are out of production, but might be found NOS.

With that price, kind of further puts those cars OUT of the "daily driver" orientation?

Used to be some truck fleets used people who would take their filters and "clean them", then they were re-used. Possibly a much better "reverse flush" action of the paper filters?

Absent of that, the tried and true "tap" and pressurized air from the inside of the filter to the outside?

Happy Holidays!

1957-58 Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth/Desoto Air Filter for 4-BBL/D-500/Fury 2-4BBLs | eBay
1957-59 Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth/Desoto AFP Purolator 2 4-BBL Air Filter | eBay

I'd be looking at round filters that have the same basic outer circumference and see if I could reconstruct it.

The first link is for the taller filter, used on the Hemi I believe, which has inline carbs but with the filter housings hanging off the side of the engine. Those filters are 3.5" tall IIRC. The seller calling out Fury is incorrect - those cars use the smaller air cleaners as available thru '62 on the 300H. (I can't visualize what the D500 uses)

The 2nd link is for a shorter filter, which would be correct for the inline carbs with air cleaners mounted on top (ala inline carbs/inline filters).
That seller's title is more correct as it doesn't specify the engine. 57-58 Fury would use these, as would 1959 and 1962 300 Letter cars.
FWIW, I think you'd be better off running NO filter rather than risk that rusty one putting debris into your engine.

Alan is on the right track - find something that fits.
@Gregg Benedict - send me a PM, some years ago I found something that might work that I could sell you.
