What you don't see is a guy in the pit underneath the Nova adjusting the wheel alignment. I was in one of those pits a couple times at the Ford truck plant in Norfolk. It's wild... The trucks were started right before, and driven over the top... and not exactly slow... Screech to a stop and the guys attaches the alignment gear and goes to town adjusting. I had to calibrate the standard they used to check their alignment gauges.
I remember seeing this at a car show many years ago when it was new. That was back before people took pictures of their lunch with their telephones, so I don't have pictures. Film and developing weren't cheap!
