In the Pierce Arrow museum in Buffalo, NY, there's a replica of a Frank Lloyd Wright service station. I don't believe any were ever built ( I may be wrong though) and this was done from his design. It's hard to photograph and best seen in person. IIRC, that is Wright's orange Cord parked in front of it. The Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum

I live in Buffalo been there many times so much to see you can’t do it in just a couple of visit

I’m completely confused. Who are you talking to not me obviously. I didn’t say one word about car repair. I simply responded to someone that mentioned the car museum in Buffalo, New York where I live.

All I was doing was posting to the thread with another picture of a gas station with some cars that I thought was interesting. If I was talking to you, I would have quoted your post or tagged you.

I have been to that museum about 10 years ago (before retiring) and I was working in the area. I'll probably going to go there again this summer. Then I'll go get a beef on weck.

circa 1930, located at 260 Center Street, Taft California.

Nothing architecturally distrinctive. Woulda bet it was gone. Perhaps not?? I think, with obvious facade mods, it has survived almost a century.

Hey "67Newport",
Was there any indication with this photo that you posted of where this tire shop was located?
I'm just wondering if I may have a family-connection to it in some way (Lehman family name).
Thanks!

@67newport can chime in as he sees fit.

My cursory look found two sources the identified this pic from 1920-21, in Washington DC. Could be something useful in your followup.
