I'm ordering the Mopar Perf Lean Burn conversion kit P3690427 and Edelbrock 1406 carb for my 400 ci motor. I'm using a spreadbore adapter (2696) and a 2" air cleaner that I hope will be enough for hood clearance. Is there any other carb adapters needed for accelerator or transmission hook up? What plugs and wires would you recommend. I'm leaning towards Autolite platinum plugs, but I'm stumped on the wires? I would like to get a good set of prefabricated wires. Lastly, I'm thinking about an Edelbrock Performer intake but I'm concerned about the mounting location of the accelerator and cruise control stuff. I'm not looking for speed/performance, just looking to get the motor to run efficient and bump up fuel mileage. I'm at 10.5 mpg now with a 400 ci motor. Exhaust pipes are black.

You also need the Mopar throttle lever adapter 325-1484.

Funny you should mention plug wires. I installed this set Tuesday. About as good as any as I have bought over the years at a very reasonable price from RockAuto:
