it's quite a price difference for the same kind of work
ABC Moparts does things differently AFAIU.
@saforwardlook can explain the differences. Not dissing JD as they are my first choice to fix an unusual 1970 Polara dash (three speakers but no AC) that ABC does not produce.

And you have your prices mixed up - it is the other way around, even though for me, I would gladly pay much more for a new reproduction dash pad from ABC Moparts anyday. They reproduce NEW dashpads just like the factory did them - in a new authentic reproduction mold.
And in general, Bob's reproduction parts are better quality than the originals such as in the case of bucket seat side and rear panels that are fiberglass, not the cheap plastic that Chrysler used to make them and they still look just like the Chrysler original parts. Same can be said for the interior C pillar covers he makes as well. There are more examples............
We all owe Bob a great deal of gratitude for all his efforts to make these parts for us and he is an avid Mopar guy himself. So we should support him whenever we can.
Just dashes takes your old brittle, cracked dashpad and "repairs" it and then covers them with vinyl so that all the character lines get faded out and if your car is parked in the sun for any length of time, those overlays tend to bubble up sometimes from what I have seen. In other words, they look like they have just been covered up. And I hear the wait time for Just Dashes currently is around six months.
I provided Bob Baker of ABC Moparts with many of the pads he reproduces just because I wanted authentic reproductions, not coverups. That meant that some perfect original dashpads got destroyed in the process, but I felt it was well worth it for many of us that really love our Mopars looking like new - not just OK.
The only way I would consider Just Dashes is if they were the only game in town for a specific car.........as Ayilar is going to do in his particular case.
