I have a 68 Chrysler sedan with power windows all around. I recently got it out of storage and noticed that only the front two windows work unlike the rear ones that dont even pull voltage. Before I went ahead and ordered new motors I bench tested a spare one to ensure that there was power to the doors and that both switches are working. The motor worked fine on both doors so I went ahead and got new motors. Now im stuck on replacing them. My windows are up but I dont know anything with getting the unit out of the door.

Do NOT unbolt the motor from the regulator without having the regulator gear clamped in a way that when you unbolt the motor from the regulator the spring on the regulator won't unwind ! Unless you don't value your fingers, then you can disregard this warning. It is best to take the regulator out of the door with the motor still attached, if you can, so that you can deal with it on a work bench, but that gear still needs to be clamped, that spring is a lot stronger than it looks.
