Hello, I just recently acquired a 1969 300 convertible and am looking to sell, but I have no idea what it’s worth. It’s an original owner 33,000 mile car, white w white top and blue interior. Very clean and drivable as is. Rebuilt carb, new brake booster and tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might research some of the car broker websites, as for Streetside Classics and Gateway Classics. Might even be one near you that you could broker the car with! They are nationwide entities with many showrooms. Several of our car club members have had good results with the Fort Worth showroom of StreetSide Classics.

They can get a worldwide market for the car and all of that. Check out their websites for more information.

You might also look at the Mecum Auction website to see what other Chrysler convertibles have sold for. Another option. They might also advise of a possible sales price range?

The car looks very nice. Good luck with the sale!

Doesn't the red carpet seem odd considering the blue interior?

Hagerty is usually pretty close on value. In its present shape 18000 - 20000. A real good detailing job under the hood would help a lot. What does and doesn't work will help in it's value also I just so happen to own one.

If the valuation you are looking for is transactional, it's worth what someone is willing to pay when you go to sell it.

If it's insurance replacement values an appraisal is the 'sure' bet

For Mopar's there is a stamped metal data plate 2" x 3", secured to the front radiator support on the driver side of the car containing information on the car. If you would post a picture of this, we can help you decode the options and other items relating to this car.

It is in beautiful shape and desirable in the over-seas market (Norway / Germany). You should not have any trouble selling it.

An observation that was made in the 1980s, when "finding" muscle cars in the original owner's garages was still active, when the financial markets go flaky, then interest in "real estate" goes up. Which includes cars. Prices go up due to desires to put money into something other than securities, then plateau and level off when the banks can pay more interest or the stock markets gets back to normal. How long has it been since we've had a reasonably non-volatile stock market, consistently?

@tonyt92579
You have received a very roundabout pricing for the car.
If you want a more honest opinion on the true value of the car please post more pictures.
One of the more important items is that trim tag that is located by the radiator and the battery. Those options listed could drastically change the value of the car.
Is there a broadcast sheet? Is there any factory documentation with the car? Did the original owner have all the chrysler documents with the car?
Please post pics of the trunk , bottoms of quarters and some close up interior pics.
Does everything work on the car? What doesn't work?
Is there a title?
Recent work done to the car?

@Chryslerdon
Give him a chance, might not be a flipper.
Often when "acquired" is the word, someone's family member has passed.
I don't care for flippers, but sometimes a flipper is the only way to see an available car.

It would be nice if people bought cars they wish to keep, instead of trying to make a buck, and driving up prices. Auctions and car flippers have ruined the car hobby.
I’m actually selling this for a neighbor to be honest with you. He is 85 and bought it new. Can’t drive any more and I don’t have the room to store it if I wanted to buy it. But I totally get your frustration. Even good quality parts are almost unobtainable

Sounds like there would be a lot of factory documentation with this car.
An original owner car!! Wow!!

Can't wait to see what else you turn up with to add to the few pictures of this awesome car!

Hey Tony. Thank you for reaching out to us with questions in your efforts to help your neighbor out. Based on the white mustang in the background of one of the photos, you are also a car guy and a outstanding person to be helping your neighbor out. I have to give your neighbor credit for wanting to sell the car as he can no longer drive it and knows it will rot away in the garage from not being used.

This is a very desirable car in this community, so it was a bit of a shock that it popped up and in this condition. I hope you find someone who will want to keep it, tweak and polish it up and actually drive it. We have all seen some very nice clean low mileage cars get sold for a couple thousand, the get "flipped" and appear a few weeks later at exorbitant prices. On this site we like to wrench and drive our cars.

When I was a kid, I thought these 300 convertibles were the most beautifully car ever. Now that I am 60 yo, I still think the same way, but the prices - a bit out of my range.

Good luck, hope it works out for all the parties involved.

Have to mention that David's car is an absolute STUNNER of a car!
Definitely makes me like what you are offering more after seeing David's car and picking it apart at the big show.
