The paint on my car had no shine left on it when I got it either so I cleaned and waxed it.

Photo's actually make the car look better than when you eyeball in person.

Everytime. Couple months ago I looked at a '62 Buick Special, "new paint, tires, new interior"...blah, blah...within last 2 years. Car looked GREAT on the CL ad. Called him and he told me straight up, no rust, no bondo...., drove 200 miles to see it,h3ll, within 90 seconds, I pointed out the surface rust below windshield, then ran magnet along bottom of car, wouldn't stick anywhere 6" up from bottom, wasted trip....next day we went to the Valley(2.5 hour trip) to look at a "70 Cougar vert, again, the CL ad pics were super nice, guy even stated "not a show car, but damn close"...and for the price I got him down to, thought it was a deal...again, no where near what it looked like in the ad. That's when we decided 1 car was enough, now I can sink all my time & $$ into my Mopar...the good Lord moves in mysterious ways..

I agree completely... BUT how many times have we heard " photos didn't do this car justice" after a purchase?

Not saying that applies here.

1972 Chryslers, they don't make them anymore. IF you wanted one , a solid low mileage car is where you would wanna start.

Tell you what. You describe the paint as you see it. This should be interesting.

Who wants to go first to give an illustration to what was said above.
Ask away

Trick question. That's a rust bucket from the Boston area. ;)
I like it still.

The thing is, if you've got the stones to ask 15k for a car that's only worth 5, don't you think you'd want to present it like it was at Barrett Jackson's? I don't think there's enough carnauba in the world to bring a shine on that one side! LOL
