Stayed at a BnB(retired ship captain?) when we toured through there a few years ago. Was really impressed with the whole area.Annapolis Valley. it's the most temperant climate of most of NS.

VERY nice home.... LOVE the kitchen, that island top is gorgeous.
Good luck with everything, I must have missed something along the way, I didn't see you were on disability.
I guess it’s where and timing of the saleWow! That's great. My sister and brother in law have already reduced their price to a point where they'll be losing 60,000$. Still no bites.

...We will almost be neighbors, only with armed officials on both sides of the fence. And new Brunswick of course. They are odd, but nice folks...
Take the ferry to Yarmouth and don't worry about NB.

I know that the market here doesn’t climb very quickly
We had to make sure to buy the right home and location so we have a better chance of having a slow steady climb in value as long as we keep things in order
Hopefully the market will recoverYep, where - Edmonton - the market is flooded with new homes and condos, and plenty of older homes. Definitely a buyers market. Timing - couldn't be worse. They put it on the market just before the virus showed up. And to top it off, it was supposed to be their "forever" house, so they've been dumping money into it for the past five years. Now, they're not going to be able to get much, if any of that money back. They'll be fine. Glad things went smoothly for you.
Looking forward to thisThe ferry didn't run have a single run last year despite the provincial government providing millions in subsidy. Just a taste of the politics around here. Decisions made here make the Trudeau government look like a group of Rhodes scholars!
Regardless, welcome again to Nova Scotia, The valley is very nice in the summer, normally sort of a mix between tourists, retired folks, and Air Force Personnel from CFB Greenwood. Not sure of your definition of temperate though.
As far as NB goes, nice people with an awesome car show, the Atlantic Nationals in Moncton in early July. We have had the 68 Monaco up the last couple of years. Maybe we will see your convert up there if the show is still a go.
I wonder if they would consider renting it out
You could still save time if you went Digby to Saint John.Sure, if I have an extra $200+ laying around for a one way single ferry ride...
The positive is that you save on gas burned to get to the same point & a bunch of hours driving.

Hi Mario.Hey Congrats Tommy! She looks like a very nice homestead!
With a shop like that, you could always install a lift later on!
We may have past it on one of our touring SDD(Social Distant Driving) recently.I don't know if you are familiar with it, but if you like excellent German food, there is a great little (blink and you'll miss it) place on the #3 between Mahone Bay and Lunenberg. They are only seasonal (closed for the winter).
