Question about “police” wheels

I used ford truck trim rings, pic of my spare wheel I know this will not fit the cop wheels.

Police rims look great with those trim rings.
What year(s) Ford Truck donated the trim rings?

What you're saying is the correct caps will not fit cop wheels?
If so I lucked out.

FWIW, There are adaptors that will let you put a 10" cap on a wheel made for 9" caps. I can't remember where I saw them though.

I believe they were 1980, s , trim rings. But I kept the pt#. Should show up in a goggle search.

Sometimes those Ford truck trim rings come with a double-pinstripe on them, later years, I believe.
The rings were probably used from mid-80s thru 1996 or so.

EDIT - I did some googling, and the ones with red stripes also have formed grooves for those stripes, and some folks may not want that.
