Quick question for those who have come before me... Where would be the best spot to disconnect the e-brake cable on my '72 Newport? It's the last thing needed to disconnect before I can roll the stub-frame out from under the body.

I was looking to do it at the rear wheel but then saw that it feeds through the frame itself. I then started to remove the pedal assembly in the car and stopped. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help!

If I’m not mistaken it is inserted into the frame from the rear, that being said the front would be the best option.

I was able to do it by detaching the cable from the plate where it branches to 2 cables. This gives you slack to detach it from the foot e-brake pedal (if you can physically contort yourself). I did this without removing the pedal mechanism.
