I'm pretty sure I have seen some Ford ranger wheels on a C body but Im not expert on what are actually Ranger wheels.. I may have just thought that's what they were. Either way I have a chance to grab some cheap mounted snow tires in great shape but they are off a Ranger.

This is for a car in paid storage so I want good tires that don't go flat. Can anyone confirm these bolt up?

Check the center hole diameter as Ford tended to have some which were a hair smaller than what Chrysler used. I've read of people having to put the wheels in a lathe to slightly enlarge the hole in the old '80s Ford OEM "wire mags" to use on mid-70s Chrysler products.

I also think the center hole is going to be too small. This is assuming '83-'11 Ranger.

70.5mm = 2.77"

IIRC, Mopar center is 2 13/16 or 2.812

So, if you don't care about the wheels, a couple minutes with a die grinder would open up the center.

Thank you for saying "some." When I put these Shelby Cal 500s on my Newport, I had guys on C Body sites telling me my wheels were going to fall off. It was only a mater of time.

Had them on for 12 years and over 40,000 miles.

I will say, I'm referring to STEEL fomoco wheels. Aluminum rims are not the same aluminum fomoco have a larger hub center.

Im thinking that the cars in the back of my mind that had ranger wheels probably actually had jeep wheels.

I passed on the ranger wheels. Im not interested in doing the work to modify them. Negates the easy button.
