good catch on the copper brake line, lol I had to look at the pics 3-4 times to see that little portion sneaking out on the pic

I learned that about 5-ish years ago there is a new coating on brake lines that gives them a copper appearance, but are in fact DOT approved.
Apparently in use in EU for quite some time, not widespread here yet.
I had to eat crow in that discussion - so verify what is there for sure. Presumably a magnet-test is sufficient.
Either way, it might behoove to get new tubes from Inline or some other vendor.

Copper work-hardens with vibration and can then crack.

Copper is also not pressure rated to take brake operating pressures and could potentially blow out.
