i have a 64 sport fury with a 318 poly.i would like to what ratio is i also have a 64 sport fury parts car that had a 361. what would that ratio be or are them the same .both cars were automatic

Look for a tag on the bolts

Yes, unless it's been removed, there will be a small metal tag attached to one to the housing cover bolts on eh pumpkin. It will tell you the ratio.

If it's not there, the way to tell is to jack up your car, slowly turn the rear wheel one revolution while counting the revolutions your driveshaft makes. You'll need to mark the shaft to know the beginning location. It's a little tedious but it will let you know.

This doesn't make a lick of proof what you actually have, but my 64 Dodge 440 318 had a 3.23,
my 63 Fury originally a 361 car has a 3.23, and my 65 Fury 383/ 4 speed car has a 3.23.

I'd have to think they were the most common?
