HD leaf springs vs stock leaf springs

Just a thought, the '64 New Yorker that is listed for parting out may have springs and a front sway bar of interest to you. You will also need the strut rods too as they are much larger than the non-bar cars and act as bar attachment points. Apparently my Direct Message option is no longer available or I would have used it. My apologies to all others. Good luck.

Thanks Jimmy. The leaf springs are already on order and should be here soon. Shout out to Eaton Detroit Springs. Couldn't ask for better customer service. As far strut rods etc, I'm going to wait until I get my eyes on the car next time. Long story but I'm in Indiana for work and the car is at my other place in NC. I'll have eyes on it at Christmas.

I don’t know what your plan is for tires/wheels, but taller tires go a long way to making our huge cars look more proportionate. There is basically nothing available for a 14” wheel that is anywhere near as tall as the factory tires. Most go to a 15” wheel to get taller tires. There are many directions to go, it just depends on your preferred look for the car. Don’t be shy to ask here, EVERYONE has an opinion and aren’t afraid to share.
Travis..
