Rear leaf spring shackles

A lot of us have bought from them with great results. I'd go with stock height, but it's your choice. Mine havent settled.
The reason it "bangs over bumps" is that the springs are too weak AND the shocks have seen better days, too. Not just the "air assist" portion of them.
The factory "HD" springs will firm things up back there and help with the "rear seat passengers", too. If you desire to keep the air shocks, then you'll just need 20psi in them for normal use, while still having the HD shock for the rest of the time. The ride should not be harsh or too stiff, if things are done "right".
Also get some new shackle bushings, too. I suspect the springs will have the front bushings already in them, but verify when ordering.

No, just that generally if I have the choice to go to the original source I go there first.

Someone has messed around with those leafs in the past. The first spring on the main spring has been cut, and is still too long, as seen in the one picture posted. Who knows what else is wrong. I'm sure the new springs will be a massive improvement.
Eaton and ESPO are probably about the same. It wouldn't even surprise me if the springs came from the same place...
I think the deciding factor is shipping. Living in the northeast, shipping is going to be cheaper from ESPO. Eaton would have the edge in the midwest.
Simple economics.
I do think the customer service and product is excellent from ESPO and I have no reason to think about changing my recommendation for vendors. I've never dealt with Eaton, so no judgment one way or the other.
I just wish ESPO would go forward with a repop offset Fuselage shackle.

I never followed up with that. After I sent them one I never heard back. That was several years ago.
It kinda looks to me like someone has added an additional 'main leaf' to the original spring pack. Mine were cut a little straighter than that one, but it is very effective, almost too much so some times.
I'll keep my eyes open. There's a NORS 65-68 set on eBay right now... are they the same?

Friend Dave, I'm implying that EATON has a track record longer then most memories. Do what you want Pal, I don't spend your money. I just don't like to do anything twice and I know how to find good stuff when I need it as opposed to shopping shopping shopping and maybe saving a whole dime. BTW, Did I ever tell you that I toured the Mini Van assembly plant in Windsor, Canada in '90 and when I walked past a 4X4x4 hopper full of shackles I realized that Mother had been using the same Shackle for 40+ yearz on her leaf springz. I bought a set from my local Mopar Dealer and they're holding up the rear springz on the Batwagon very well, LMAO. Jer
