She wouldn't stop idling fast after warming up. So, the local mechanic diagnosed a faulty choke thermostat and tuned her down until I found the part. She's going in next week for a quick shop visit. Otherwise, she has been a joy to drive. I fixed the rearview mirror and will order a hood cable pull unit to install this winter from Murray P.

Thats good. I have to say it really is an impressive car! I'm trying to buy another C body, but the prices are ridiculous around here. There's one guy who has 2 barns full. They all need work, most will likely need paint.

Of all the cars I've sold in the last decade Iggy is the only one I regret letting go! Only because of the condition and colors.

Thank you for selling it to me. Iggy is one of my favorites in the herd. Hope to have her around for decades. Each Imperial has its unique quirks, blemishes and performance personalities. One thing I noticed with each one is they have their own "good" interior smell. A combo of leather, cloth, plastic, sweet cigar, etc...it's hard to explain... But, I could identify each one blindfolded I'm sure.

Found recently and got a nice fender skirt today that happens to be the correct color for Chester the newest addition.
Congratulations on getting Chester! I'm glad you were able to keep the car in state, too many MN cars and trucks have gone far and wide.
