Red line tire add ons

I bought a car with an add on red line.Anyone see these before? Who sells them?

What keeps it on the tire? Adhesive?

The similar whitewall versions are usually just wedged between rim and tire. You often hear complaints about these things rubbing against the tire wall wearing it thin over time. For that reason not street legal in Germany AFAIK.

Yes they appear to have a rubber glue. I did a google search with no luck, just thought someone might know.

Maybe the type of glue used to patch inner tubes?

I have heard of them, especially the wider whites. Never paid much attention to them
