Yep, can't just mount it on a 6 4L. The pistons are 11:1 in a 6 4L so the compression is way too high. The cam grind is totally wrong to work with this supercharger. You are right! This guy is building a grenade. And then he is going to be in bewilderment when it grenades......and thinking what went wrong????
