ah, ya gotta be a certain vintage to remember this one. I got into it (playfully) with my Dad when he said we couldnt jump outtaa neighbor's tree into their '63 Chevy Vert.

The Invisible Monster still ranks high with Jonny Quest fans today. I think because it scared so many of us when we were kids it left a lasting impression.
The storyline and the energy monster were loosely based on the Energy “Monster from the Id” of the classic Science Fiction film “Forbidden Planet” of course that animated monster was done by Artist Joshua Meador who was loaned to MGM by Walt Disney studios. He’s probably best known for his amazing animation sequences in the Disney film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea…Pics one and two are actual cels from the original JQ cartoon episode. Pics three is a collector poster and pic 4 is the Invisible Energy Monster from the Id. The sounds both monsters made was quite memorable I think…
