The original FrankenStrat which was black and seen on the back of Van Halen first album was buried with Dimebag.Eddy put it in his casket during the funeral.

Wasn't that the yellow one from VH 2? He has the original, it was black and white, later painted to red/white

Chiming in late on this one but damn I heard this on the news the other day. How sad and heartbreaking, Mr. Van Halen had A LOT of great songs too. There goes another very talented musician gone forever.

Yes, the 'Bumblebee' (black, yellow stripes. Had an early Floyd Rose vibrato unit) was placed by Eddie into Darrell Abbott's casket. 'Frankenstrat' still with Van Halen family.

RIP Eddie, from a big fan.
